How to care?

Lighting

Adenium refers to photophilous plants.

The soil

The soil mixture for adenium is loose and light so that it can pass moisture and oxygen well. Acidity for Adeium should not exceed 5-7 pH. If you have acquired soil, and it is very dense and poor, you can mix the earth yourself:

1. five parts of the finished substrate are taken;
2. three parts of sheet land with a high content of humus and two parts of river sand.

What kind of pot is needed?

Adenium feels great in both ceramic and plastic containers. The basic rule is to match the size of the flower and the capacity under it. Young adenium feels great in deep pots.

For a growing plant, choose a pot whose height is equal to the diameter of the top of the circumference of the container. This must be done, as the growing root branches out on different sides.

How to prepare for wintering?

In winter, you need to be especially careful in caring for adenium. Since this plant requires daylight hours of about 13-14 hours, and in winter it is very difficult to do, resort to stagnation of the flower. Stagnation is the slowdown of all processes in a plant.

• lower temperature;
• humidity and increase the intervals between watering.

The acceptable temperature of the content of adenium in the spring is + 11 ... +12 degrees.
